Fireworks By Water –
Starting July 3rd

There are plenty of July 4th Fireworks shows on- or near the water this year – starting at the Craneway Pavillion in Richmond on July 3rd. Please be mindful of the safety zones set up by the Coast Guard around the barges, and make sure your running lights are working:

Richmond gets a jump on things by holding their celebration on July 3rd – down at the Craneway Pavillion, live music at 5:00 pm, fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Benicia: “Torchlight” Parade on July 3rd, fireworks July 4th set for 9:00 pm

Redwood City: First time since 2009, parking is supposed to be awful, go by boat.



San Francisco: 9:30 pm, Fisherman’s Wharf/Pier 39, the “Big Daddy” show for the Bay, fog permitting.

Berkeley: an all-day affair, plan on walking/biking/public transport because of parking restrictions, fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Oakland – once again, no fireworks.


Sausalito: (Seen above from the Sausalito YC) Party starts at Gabrielson Park at 6:30 pm, fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Vallejo: Parade in the morning, and they say the fireworks will be at 9:15 – who knows?

Martinez promises Whip Cream Gelatin & Noodle Races at the Rankin Aquatic Center, how can anyone turn THAT down? Fireworks at the Marina set for 9:15 pm.

Pittsburg: Nope

Antioch All day party, fireworks at 9:30pm

Suisun City: Fireworks are actually LEGAL here, so get your sparklers on. Music starts at 3:00 pm, fireworks at 9:15 pm.
